That’s right! The best Turkish food in Miami is from Shiraz Bistro and Market. Not only that, but it also boasts the best Persian food in Miami as well. So why haven’t you heard of it?It’s hidden away off US-1 near Dadeland mall in the outskirts of Kendall. The strip mall this culinary gem is nestled in is easily passed by without a second glance. That why so many of us don’t know of it’s existence. Shiraz used to be owned by a local Persian family. Back in those days the food was amazing, but the drab looks of the space wasn’t too appealing. Thankfully, now under new management, the Turkish owners took the time to revamp the space. It has a rustic modern and casual vibe. The perfect match for any serious foodie.

The wide variety of appetizers can easily make a full meal for the pickiest vegan and vegetarian. Not to mention their simple Greek salad tastes anything, but simple. The salad is crisp and fresh. The house dressing is amazing. It’s the perfect spot to hangout with friends and enjoy a meal to remember. Not a person will be left unsatisfied. The kababs and most entrees come with fragrant and fluffy saffron scented Persian style rice. A must try if you still haven’t. If you want to go Paleo, you also have the option to substitute the rice with their epic Greek salad without feeling the slightly big like you’re missing out. Be sure to save a little room for their famous Turkish coffee and a dessert. Their coffee comes in the most gorgeous presentation. A beautiful cup, rose flavored Turkish Delight, and cool water. Their Kunefe is a warm baked cheese with bits of phyllo dough crust drizzled with what we think was a sweet orange blossom syrup and pistachio crumbles. Shiraz Bistro And Market Review
